SUMMER WORKSHOP
From July 1st to 5th, 2024
The summer workshop offers an introduction to Etienne Decroux’s vast technique of Mime Corporel Dramatique, including an analysis of movement and philosophical thought, through an exploration of its principles and fundamental dramatic situations.
- The workshop covers fundamental principles of mime corporel
- Basic techniques, body articulation
- Counterweight, comedy of effort
- Body movement in space (character walks)
- Segmentation, and rhythm work based on the characters studied.
The workshop is not themed, but is a true initiation workshop where participants will change their approach, purpose, and ultimately improvisation each day.

To participate in a workshop, simply fill out the online form for the workshop of your choice and pay the deposit indicated via Paypal or by check to the address of the school, or send us this printable registration form. (checks payable to the Association Commedia)
Registration will only be confirmed upon receipt of the deposit of €100.
Cancellation
The registration deadline is 10 days before the start of the workshop. Before this deadline, the registration fee will be refunded minus €50 for administrative costs. After this deadline, no refund requests will be accepted.
